We are surrounded by political commercials and the tiresome rhetoric that accompanies our embattled politicians. Don't worry! I am not going to get on my soap box and shout my political opinions, however it forces me to reflect upon how nasty basic communication has gotten.
Today’s popular open concept floor plans and blank canvases on the walls have offered designers a tremendous opportunity to showcase dramatic statement pieces that creatively tie a room together. Interior Designers have a hard job to do. They are tasked with the challenge of scouring the home decor industry for the perfect pieces that will transform their client's house into a home. Of all the international trips I embark on, this particular trip is one of my favorites! I travel to China quite a bit to meet with our team here, but this week I have been here with my product development hat on. Our team continues to expand it resources across the globe seeking new partners that can execute our innovative designs and enable us to remain a leader in the Home Furnishing Industry.
We were honored this last week to have 2 of our mirrors chosen to be part of designer extraordinaire, Justin Shaulis’s work of interior art in The Christopher Kennedy Compound for Modernism Week. Every piece of this guest room was carefully selected to harmonize together down to the most simple detail.
Well, this is my first stab at a writing a blog! As I sit at the DMV with my 16 years old daughter who is taking the driving test for the first time, I cannot help but reflect (no pun intended). Oh, how the time flies! We all have to remember to take a deep breath and step back in our hectic days to remember what is important, FAMILY!
We hope you were able to visit us at the Vegas Show! Our newly renovated showroom generated a ton of buzz and great feedback. Our design team did an amazing job showcasing new merchandising techniques and giving the showroom a nice open feeling that allowed you to truly see all of the fantastic decorative mirrors, accessories and accent furniture we have to offer.
It was great seeing you all at the Atlanta Market just a few short weeks ago. And if you couldn't make it, you were definitely missed!!! We were very excited to reveal our new showroom along with our new look and merchandising concepts.
