HOWARD ELLIOTT MIRRORS FEATURED IN MODERNISM WEEK ROOM DESIGN BY JUSTIN SHAULIS
We were honored this last week to have 2 of our mirrors chosen to be part of designer extraordinaire, Justin Shaulis’s work of interior art in The Christopher Kennedy Compound for Modernism Week. Every piece of this guest room was carefully selected to harmonize together down to the most simple detail.
The guest room features our new Darius Mirror. It perfectly becomes of focal point of the wall, without overpowering the other lovely accents and furniture.
Justin also chose our oval Memphis Mirror for the guest bath. Again it flawlessly accents and brings together every minute detail in the room.
For those of you not familiar, Modernism Week is a two week long event in Palm Springs, California. “The mission of Modernism Week is to celebrate and foster appreciation of midcentury architecture and design, as well as contemporary thinking in these fields, by encouraging education, preservation and sustainable modern living as represented in Palm Springs.” -Modernism Week Website. It is a not for profit organization working to help inspire students pursuing architecture & design, plus supporting local & state groups working to preserve modernist architecture throughout the state of California.
One of the main must-see events is The Christopher Kennedy Compound where “Christopher Kennedy brings together ten of the nations most prominent tastemakers to create unique rooms in this showcase house.” -Christopher Kennedy Compound Website. We are very humbled and honored that Justin Shaulis chose our pieces to be part of this amazing event of architecture and design.
