HOWARD ELLIOTT + SHOWHOUSE INTERIORS - ASPIRE JLD DETROIT SHOWHOUSE
September is fast approaching, and with that, the big reveal of the Junior League of Detroit ASPIRE Showhouse! Howard Elliott is working with Michigan Interior Designer, Jeanine Haith with ShowHouse Interiors!
For more than 10 years, ShowHouse Interiors has been offering unique, timeless designs that reflect their client's individual lifestyles and interests. Channeling her distinct talent, Jeanine has taken on the task of transforming the Library of the Fisher Mansion.
Of this room, it was the painted wood ceiling that caught Jeanine's eye. This evoked the inspiration behind her design. The artfully decorated ceiling is original to the house dating back to 1922. It depicts a hand painted family crest with the monogram signatures of the artists. Originally designed to be a library, but later became a billiard room. Reflected in the decor of the room, it is easy to imagine the man of the house entertaining influential scholars and businessmen of the era.
Even in her renderings, the transformation of this room will definitely be fit for royalty. The play of rich color, and bold patterns come together to create an invigorating yet inviting space. Flanking the fireplace Jeanine has chosen to use our Oversized Apollo Mirrors.
The team at ShowHouse Interiors has been hard at work on their transformation. You can follow their progress on Instagram @showhouseinteriors or on Facebook @showhouseinteriors. And be sure to look for the final reveal this September!
