It is hard to believe that it is already mid November and dare I say it? The holidays are right around the corner. So much has happened in the last few weeks and I would like to take a moment to reflect on the gratitude I have for everything that has happened.
A few weeks ago, I attended my daughter’s Junior High School graduation. Preparing myself for the never-ending speeches by school administrators, I was pleasantly surprised by one part of the presentation that took me by surprise. I had an overwhelming sense of pride to learn that these fourteen year old young adults were not only being taught how to be charitable, but that many of them took leadership roles and were self-motivated to take part in charities and causes all on their own!
Well, this is my first stab at a writing a blog! As I sit at the DMV with my 16 years old daughter who is taking the driving test for the first time, I cannot help but reflect (no pun intended). Oh, how the time flies! We all have to remember to take a deep breath and step back in our hectic days to remember what is important, FAMILY!
