Your HOME: It is your place, your haven, your sanctuary. It is where you LIVE. Not just sleep, eat and keep your stuff. That is a house; nothing more than a building. But a home, a home is a place where memories are made, where friends gather, where family creates happiness, where you can be totally...YOU. So it only makes sense that you surround yourself with accents and decor that define your personality. Because your home is in fact an extension of you!Read More
A few weeks ago, I attended my daughter’s Junior High School graduation. Preparing myself for the never-ending speeches by school administrators, I was pleasantly surprised by one part of the presentation that took me by surprise. I had an overwhelming sense of pride to learn that these fourteen year old young adults were not only being taught how to be charitable, but that many of them took leadership roles and were self-motivated to take part in charities and causes all on their own!Read More
A few weeks ago we shared with you a video of our Custom Color Program. It got a great response on social media (thanks for liking and sharing!) But after watching it, did you look at it and think "OK, that is great. But how can I make it work for me?" Well I am going to tell....rather, show you how it can work for you!Read More

I hate having my picture taken. Probably the weirdest thing you would hear from someone that does photography, right? But if you think about it, there is a reason photographers are always behind the camera and not in front of it ☺. They want to capture the beauty in their surroundings or of the subject they are shooting, not they, themselves.
Colleen, our Director of Sales, told me that the comedian Carrot Top visited our Las Vegas Showroom once and said, “Wow! This isn’t a place you can be self conscious in.” And you know what? When you think about it, he couldn’t be more right! Surrounded by mirrors at every turn, look, and there you are from every angle!
I have been taking photos of mirrors for Howard Elliott for almost 7 years now and have grown accustomed to seeing, and even NOT seeing myself in every one. Now when I shoot the new samples I find myself taking a few funny pictures of my reflection. Because hey, even though it is work, you have to have a little fun with it.
Mr. Berk even can't help getting captured in a few reflections!
How about you? Are you a “Check yourself out” in the shop windows kind of person? Or are you more of a “Look at everything BUT your reflection” person? Tell us in the comments.
Spring is slowly making itself known in the northern states of the US. I don't know about you, but I am tired of waiting and am ready for some COLOR!
Bring new life to your decor simply by adding touches of colors around your home! Pillows, vases, and flowers are a few ways. But for a really fun change, without breaking the bank, how about a bold, colorful mirror?!
Our Custom Color Collection brings you over 65 frame styles in one of ten bold, glossy finishes making the options virtually endless!
